| Open house: Robert Evans MEP, with Feltham residents |
Hounslow's Labour MEP Robert Evans visited the Open House café at St Paul's Church Centre, Hounslow, last week to chat to residents and sample the Fairtrade delights on offer.
Mr Evans joined thousands of campaigners across the UK in promoting Fairtrade Fortnight, which aimed to raise consumer awareness about how changing their buying habits could help tackle poverty in the developing world.
Mr Evans said: "Simply by incorporating Fairtrade products into your weekly shop, the people of Hounslow can make a real difference to the lives of those less fortunate."
Fairtrade products are available at St Paul's Centre in Bath Road on Sundays.
