Dual senior men's championship record-holder Cypren Edmunds saw his 200m mark survive at Kingsmeadow on Saturday, but he was absent when his 100m performance was twice bettered the following day.

Edmunds saw his teenage son Cale, competing for Hercules Wimbledon, take the silver medal in the junior men's long jump.

On the same day, Kent AC's Jonathan Browne took the 200m title in 21.62, well shy of Edmunds' 1996 championship record of 21.2.

Dwayne Dowding of Hercules Wimbledon was second in 22.05, after posting a lifetime best of 21.94 in winning his heat, and Herne Hill's Idris Ojuriye third (22.10).

Sunday's 100m line-up was even classier, and this was confirmed when Shaftesbury Barnet's Ryan Moseley won his heat in 10.47 to erase Edmunds' 1996 record of 10.6. Not far behind, Herne Hill's Robert Graham posted a lifetime best of 10.62.

Moseley and Graham both went faster in the final, clocking 10.42 and 10.57 respectively, Ojuriye getting another bronze in 10.63.

Moseley's time lifts him to sixth in the season rankings.

Hercules Wimbledon's former junior international Austin Ferns was another record-breaker in the senior men's 400m hurdles, storming round in 52.66 to erase the 52.7 performance set by Richard Holt in 1995.

He time ranks him third overall for this summer, and guarantees him a place in the Olympic trials in Birmingham in July. Walton's Adam McCarthy was third in 55.87.

Hercules Wimbledon's veteran long jumper Royden John produced his best form in 16 years in snatching the senior men's title, leaping 7.28m to clinch gold by 2cm from Ezekiel Ewulo, with Kingston & Polytechnic's David Cook taking bronze (6.79m).

Cheam-based Kevin Quinn took the 5,000m in 15:13.37, while Kingston & Polytechnic's Gareth Cook retained his senior men's hammer title (51.61m). Belgrave's Joe Ive was below his best in retaining his pole vault title with 5.10m.

Other senior men's winners included: 400m: Ryan Thomas (Belgrave) 48.71. Triple jump: David Wellstead (Belgrave) 14.28m. Javelin: Chris Dack (Kingston & Polytechnic) 54.27m.

Junior men's winners: 100m: Dele Onifade (Herne Hill) 10.89. 200m: Onifade 21.65. Long jump: Paul Oluyemi (HHH) 6.83m. 400m hurdles: Matt Threadgold (Epsom & Ewell) 58.24.
